Dr. Hughes opened Ellerbe Road Animal Hospital in 1996. Graduating from Auburn University in 1986, he moved back to Shreveport to work and raise his family. He became a Certified Fear Free Professional in February of 2020. Dr. Hughes loves animals of all shapes and sizes, and has several pets of his own. Since opening the clinic, Dr. Hughes and the staff at Ellerbe Road have always had an interest in keeping your pets happy and healthy!
